記者23日從中國(guó)科學(xué)院獲悉，該院青藏高原研究所和地質(zhì)與地球物理研究所科研人員聯(lián)合發(fā)布“4·20”蘆山地震震源破裂過(guò)程反演初步結(jié)果稱，蘆山地震與汶川地震有密切關(guān)系，可視為汶川地震的強(qiáng)余震。

Beijing (CNS) -- There is a relationship between the Lushan earthquake and the Wenchuan earthquake five years ago, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) said on Tuesday.
The Lushan quake was a strong aftershock of the 2008 earthquake, according to preliminary results released by the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research and the Institute of Geography and Geophysics under the CAS.
Lushan's was of the "thrust" type, and the two quakes caused increased Coulomb stress in the same area, said researchers, who concluded that the previous quake added impetus to latter one.
Jiang Haikun, from the China Seismological Network Center, had previously said the Lushan quake was not an aftershock of the Wenchuan quake, although there was an interrelation of stress transfer.
