On the 104th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China, Colin Mackerras, Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and the world-renowned Australian sinologist, noted during the latest episode of W.E. Talk that although Marxism originated in German philosophy, it holds universal value. By adapting it to Chinese realities, the CPC has driven a uniquely Chinese path to modernization—distinct from Western models—while upholding a people-centric approach that unites all social strata and improves living standards. At the same time, China promotes global governance through the concept of a shared future for mankind, demonstrating an inclusive international outlook. (Chen Tianhao)
