(ECNS) -- The world's largest span railway flexible steel tunnel shed has been installed at the exit of a cliff tunnel of Longhai Railway at the junction of Northwest China's Gansu and Shaanxi provinces.
The shed is 24 meters long and wide and weighs 65 tons, undertaken by China Railway 12thbureau Group Co., LTD.
The project will effectively remove the hidden causes of accidents at the exit of the tunnel, ensure that the railway operates safely, and boost economic and social development and rural revitalization along the railway.
