The Fuling shale gas field in southwest China's Chongqing has made significant breakthroughs in drilling, according to China's largest oil refiner Sinopec.
It has completed the drilling footage of 4,225 meters in the overall 4,286-meter-long horizontal section in the well, and has a depth of 7,161 meters underground, setting new records for the longest horizontal section of shale gas wells in China. It is also the longest footage of one-step-drilling in the horizontal section of wells.
