China welcomes a cleaner Yangtze River

(ECNS) -- The 6,300-kilometer Yangtze River flows eastward all the way into the sea, fed by hundreds of streams and rivers. Chinese people are nurtured by the Yangtze River and in turn protect it.

In recent years, with fishermen abandoning their career and industries upgraded, the ecological environment along the Yangtze River has been improved, ensuring its clear flow and economic growth of surrounding regions.
